A Clearer Driver-Hiring Workflow

Keep the handoffs moving

Hiring can stall when an applicant, the hiring team, and outside providers are waiting on one another. A simple sequence makes the next action visible without asking a candidate to chase several old links or email sensitive records to an outdated address.

1. Define the position and the checks it needs

Before inviting an applicant into the workflow, identify the vehicle and role, the credentials and records your program calls for, and who on your team will review the result. Requirements can differ by operation, so use your current company process and qualified advice rather than copying an old email template.

2. Send the current application path

Give the applicant one current, approved application route and tell them whom to contact if they get stuck. Avoid asking them to send license, medical, or testing documents to a general email address unless that is your approved secure process.

3. Coordinate the checks and follow-up

Track which requests are pending, which results have arrived, and who must review an exception. LBC Fleet’s driver hiring support describes the administrative help available. If screening is the bottleneck, review the separate background-check service and confirm the scope before ordering.

4. Close the loop with the employer

The employer’s authorized reviewer decides what the completed records mean for the role and when the applicant may move forward. A visible status and a named owner for each open item keep the handoff from disappearing between systems.
