How to Check an Applicant’s Status in LBC Fleet

Updated October 12, 2026. The 2021 version of this article used button colors and labels that have not been confirmed in the current interface. Use the status shown in your authorized account, not an old screenshot, to decide what happened next.

First, make sure you have the right applicant

In Applicant Tracking, locate the intended record and confirm the name, email, company, and recruiting context before opening details. Stop if the record is missing, duplicated, or belongs to another company or person. Do not create a second record just to get past a status question.

If the person has not been added yet, the separate add-a-new-applicant guide shows the earlier record-creation workflow. Its pictures are from a fictional sandbox and are orientation only; confirm the controls and authorization in the current app before using them. Creating a record does not send a hire packet or complete screening.

Then check each status separately

  • Applicant record: Is the right recruiting record present, with the intended company and current stage?
  • Hire packet: Has it been sent, received, and reviewed? A sent packet is not a received packet.
  • Screening and documents: Check each ordered item and its actual result or review state. A received packet does not prove a drug test, background check, MVR, or driver qualification is complete.
  • Follow-up: Review any notes or contact history only when your role permits it. Assign the next action to the right person; do not infer a contact attempt from a button color.

Labels, permissions, and workflow steps can change. If the current screen does not clearly show a result, ask your company administrator or LBC support to confirm the record and next action. Do not mark an applicant approved, employed, or qualified from this article alone.
